Patil Education Foundation®, established on October 2, 2009, in Badagandi, Tq: Bilagi, Dist: Bagalkot, Karnataka, has consistently been committed to delivering the highest standards of education. Our management is dedicated to continually enhancing the facilities and services to meet the evolving demands of the modern student in today’s competitive world. At the S. R. Patil College of Nursing, our objective extends beyond merely providing superior education through state-of-the-art infrastructure. We are focused on fostering the holistic development of our students, ensuring that they are well-prepared not only academically but also personally and professionally.

I consider it a great honor to address this esteemed gathering of scholars, and especially the students, as I stand here representing the S. R. Patil Education Foundation—an institution that has been long cherished and founded by S. R. Patil, a steadfast believer in the principles of M.K. Gandhi and a devoted follower of Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam. It is a privilege to be part of an institution that aims to impart knowledge, empower minds, and shape the future of students who will eventually become the leaders of tomorrow.
Today, I would like to speak about an incredibly important and rewarding profession—the Nursing Profession. Nursing is one of the most noble and respected fields in the healthcare industry. Nurses are often the backbone of medical teams, providing vital care and support to patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and recovery. The role of nurses extends beyond just administering medications or treatments. It is rooted in compassion, empathy, and a commitment to improving lives.

An education isn’t how much you have committed to memory, or even how much you know. It’s being able to differentiate between what you know and what you don’t.
We affirm that education begins at birth and continues through the life. So our complete focus is to provide a support centre to our children, to become whole and healthy individuals in life.
In our S R Patil College of Nursing we aim to create an ideal nursing college environment where innovation is all pervasive.
The educational needs of today are very different from those of the past because of growing competition with the progress of science and technology.
A pivotal role of education lies in shaping the Personality of a student into a healthy mind and happy soul who is not only equipped with 21st century skills and aptitude required for academic excellence but helping him for the challenges of life in a balanced harmonious way. Therefore the system of education should work as a catalyst in making each student a balanced human being. I would like the student community of S R Patil College of Nursing to make use of the advanced facilities here, achieve excellence in academics, sports and other extracurricular activities, inculcate human values and take our college to greater heights.
